How would you write Redemption? 2016 Central PA Comic Con voices unite!

I decided to start something fun at the Central PA ComiCon this past weekend, and I hope to continue with the idea at future cons! I put a large notebook on my table with the opening line to Redemption. Then, I let people who stopped by my table put down what they would have written next! It was a ton of fun to see everyone's ideas and how our imaginations can take the story in such different directions!

Check out the story below to see how the people at the Central PA ComicCon would have written Redemption!

Jae huddled in the corner of the damp cell, trembling as much from the penetrating cold as the stabbing pain consuming his body. He couldn't tell which bothered him more - the circumstances he was in, or the events that got him there.

(start the flashback)

It was a warm summer day, and it seemed to Jae that nothing could go wrong. Clearly, he was mistaken. Suddenly, he heard the sound of a mournful train whistle, which was odd, as there were no train tracks nearby.

Crap! Not again!

A glittering black armored locomotive was twisting through the sky, the small ebony worm slithering closer to the terrified figure of Jae, growing larger as it approached.

How do you think the fans at Central PA ComicCon did? Do you wish there was more to the story?

Post your comments below and be sure to check out Redemption on Nook and Kindle to see how Jae handles his captivity. Do you think he'll remain a victim?
